Accessibility

Last updated: August 2026

We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

  • Semantic headings and landmarks, and a skip-to-content link.
  • Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element.
  • The screening grid is reachable and readable by keyboard, not by hover alone.
  • Motion respects the “reduce motion” setting; the grid renders its final state immediately when that is on.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Color contrast checked against the AA threshold.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time task. If you encounter a barrier on this site, please tell us and we will work to fix it.
